Heal Clutter Through Feng Shui
IT IS TIME TO UNDERSTAND WHAT CLUTTER DOES TO US AND OUR LIVES
We all know when the daffodils pop up and Spring is in the air, it is a great time to take a look at our lives regarding our STUFF. Most of us are attached to our STUFF.
But what is it really doing to and for us?
Many of us keep it around us like a fort unconsciously thinking it protects us and keeps us safe.
Lots of us carry it around in the back of the car or in one of those fashionable, expensive over sized purses. We focus on the stuff, then we do not have to focus on the real issues that are troubling our lives.
Thirdly we could be running very subtle ” lack consciousness” thinking that we may need it again and/or may never find it again. So we better hold on.
LET’S HAVE A NEW APPROACH.
How about focusing on us and who we are and what we desire.
Does EACH and EVERY item in our lives truly express who we are or who we would like to be?
Do we Feel wonderful when we are with it or wearing it?
Most people do not know what they want. But they usually know what they don’t want.
That is the perfect place to start.
Be AWARE of your FEELINGS when you begin to get rid of your stuff. This is important! There are often emotions tied up in our stuff. If we step over them we often recreate more clutter in a short period of time all over again.
If you can be in touch with the stuff with a quick one word category that would really help you. Usually they are feelings. Like Memories of good times or Loss of someone or something special to us. So shorten them to good memory or sad feelings.
Now we have a clearer view of what effect this object is having on us.
Notice how you feeling in your body.
Is it making you feel positive?
So keep what makes you happy and feels fantastic and alive! This is a good Feng Shui principle to surround yourself with positivity, beauty, and raise the ” chi ” in your life.
Now take the rest to Goodwill.
